My Name Is Swan is mini-epic poem by Jan Noble, a wayfaring river monologue that follows a solitary voice through the hidden fringes of the city. Adam Carr’s accompanying film is a meditation on the marginalised taking us down the narrow-ways and river tributaries where litter glitters like supernovae. It won ‘Best Narrative’ at the Los Angeles International Poetry Film Festival (2023)
My Name Is Swan will be published by Ink & Ribbon Press in a limited edition print run in October 2026.
